An 81-year-old Russian woman woke up 7 hours after being placed in the morgue. Doctors had pronounced her dead after an operation for a bowel obstruction.
Zinaida Kononova, an 81-year-old Russian woman, was placed in a mortuary after being pronounced dead following surgery for a bowel obstruction on August 14.
Only seven hours after being transferred there, the elderly person woke up! According to the Sun, an employee found her lying on the floor. The old woman had tried to get off the table she was lying on. Zinaida Kononova was then covered with blankets and taken to intensive care.
Members of his family were notified of his death early in the night. They were surprised to receive another call from the hospital, informing them that the 81-year-old Russian was alive and well. The doctor told the family: “We are facing an unusual situation. She is alive! »
The patient’s family are considering taking the hospital to court. Several human errors are believed to be the cause of the incident. The patient was sent to the morgue 1h20 after being officially declared dead, when it would have been necessary to wait at least 2 hours.
