“He finished fourth in the MVP vote, but in my opinion he’s not the best basketball player on his team,” Martin said, implying that Kyrie Irving is the best player on the Mavericks.

“Put him against Kyrie. He plays up to 11 points, he might not even get to the ball. If Kyrie starts the game with the ball, Doncic won’t get to it. Luka can’t cover the damn camera stand,” Martin quipped.
Doncic may miss several games early this season due to injury, as the Mavericks reported before the final test match that there is currently no specific timeline for Doncic’s recovery from the injury.
