Deathloop is Arkane Lyon’s new first person shooter coming in an exclusive thunderstorm on PS5 and PC, it seems exploiting fully the possibilities offered by DualSense, as explained by Bethesda herself in a new update on the official PlayStation blog.

Arkane e Bethesda explained some of the specific uses of the DualSense features, namely the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, in the post reported on the PlayStation blog and dedicated to Deathloop, which finally has an official release date and will arrive on May 21, 2021.
Apparently, the game is developed in such a way that DualSense makes you feel the differences between fire mode, the weight of the weapons and how they reload or hit the target.
The trigger resistance and the recoil after the shot are all calculated and reproduced differently for each type of weapon in the game, including the fact that it can jam, with the trigger locking in mid-stroke. In addition to the weapons, also the movements of the protagonist can be “felt” in first person with the haptic feedback of the controller, giving different sensations.
Furthermore, the microphone Inside participates in the overall game audio, providing additional audible feedback to the action and playing the radio communications between the protagonist Colt and Julianna.
