Dakar, August 4 (APS) – Former Minister of National Education Prof. Moustapha Sourang died on Monday night in Dakar at the age of 71, following an illness, several media reported .
Prof. Sourang also served as Minister of Justice and Minister of the Armed Forces under the regime of President of the Republic Abdoulaye Wade.
A lawyer by training, Moustapha Sourang was former rector of the University Cheikh Anta Diop in Dakar and former dean of the Faculty of Law of the said university.
In 2014, he was appointed by the President of the Republic Macky Sall, president of the National Commission for Land Reform (CNRF).
