The causes of the fall of the hydraulic lift of the Côté Seine shopping center in Argenteuil (Val-d’Oise) which cost, in June 2018, the life of Ismaïl, 4 years, are now known and the responsibilities for this tragedy clearly established. In an interim second opinion report dated December 16, 2022, the firm’s expert engineer Gérard Bonnor points to several malfunctions during and after the accident, which he sharedly attributes to elevator makers Thyssen, now TK Elevator France, and Bagneux Hydraulique.
