Appeared a few weeks ago Eternals in cinemas worldwide, where many great new characters from Marvel Comics made their debut. Of course, those were mainly Eternals, and not everyone made it to the end. Attention: SPOILERS!!!
The group of Eternals that we see in the Marvel movie consists of ten characters. Three of them do not make it to the end of the film, although you might think that the death of one of the characters should not be final.Is the sun strong enough to kill an Eternal?
With a considerable plot twist, it becomes clear during the film that Ikaris van Richard Madden is not on the side of the other Eternals. He appears to be responsible for the death of Ajak of the actress Salma Hayek. At the end of the film we see Ikaris flying into space at lightning speed, straight towards the sun.
“What is the melting point of an Eternal? How long does it take to literally melt an Eternal?” Scriptwriter Kaz Firpo joked in conversation with CBR after being asked if Ikaris is really dead. “For what it’s worth… Yes, that was always the intention. He can’t bear to face his family after what he’s done, what he realizes.”
The third Eternal not to make it to the end is actor Gilgamesh Don Lee who sacrifices herself for Thena van Angelina Jolie. By the way, dead characters can return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for all sorts of reasons, that’s for sure.
