Reason for Rangers’ decision revealed place defender Anthony Deangelo to draft bounces.
According to The Athletic, the 25-year-old American had a conflict with Alexander Georgiev.
It is alleged that Deangelo, after yesterday’s defeat to Pittsburgh (4-5 OT), had a fight with the Russian goalkeeper in the tunnel leading to the team’s dressing room.
Georgiev defended the goal in yesterday’s game, in which DeAngelo received “-3”. Alexander was absent from team training on Sunday.
The quarrel between the players was settled. The Rangers neither confirmed nor denied the information about the conflict between Deangelo and Georgiev.
This season NHL Deangelo played 6 matches and scored 1 (0 + 1) point with a “-6” utility.
The term of the hockey player’s agreement with the club is calculated until the end of the 2021/22 season. Salary – $ 4.8 million per year.
