Ardooie –
Around 1.00 am last night a serious accident happened on the E403 in Ardooie. In addition, one motorist was killed. Two others were injured. The public prosecutor reports this.

The findings of the traffic expert have shown that a vehicle must have collided with another vehicle at a high speed in the rear. The driver of the colliding vehicle had probably fallen asleep. He is not positive. The man was slightly injured. The driver of the crashed vehicle was killed in the accident. His son was also in the car and was taken to hospital seriously injured.
Saturday evening there was also a serious accident along the E403 in Lichtervelde. A couple ended up in the canal with their Volkswagen Polo and were seriously injured. Read more here.
