Lebanese media worker Najwa Qassem shocked the Arab world by her departure from our world on the second day of the new year, after her sudden death at her home in Dubai at the age of 51.
Najwa Kassem had spoken of death days before her departure, because of a tweet by one of the people who wished for her death, saying: The coming year, God willing, we will bring you back “from others”.
The Lebanese media replied to him, saying on Twitter: “God does not deprive you of bad intentions, O Lord, God willing, heal the coming year until you eat what you are.”
Lebanese journalist on Al-Arabiya channel, Najwa Qassem, died yesterday, Thursday, at her home in Dubai, at the age of 51.
A number of pioneers of social networking sites launched Twitter in Egypt and the Arab countries, hashtag # Najwa_al-Qasim, and the hashtag topped the list of the most traded through social media sites and a large number of social media users interacted with it.
