David Koller has a new clip with a clear message: Fears of losing your freedom ?!

David Koller is one of those artists who values freedom a lot. Probably for that reason, in the new video he decided to draw attention to dangerous phenomena in society. What do we think is threatening us?

Singer, songwriter and drummer David Koller has recorded a new single and the clip We Contact You. The author of the music is Matěj Belko, the lyrics were written by Belko and Koller. The new song will be heard at a series of summer concerts by the band Kollerband, which will take place in the vineyards, among other things, and also four times in a row at the Jazz Dock club in Prague. Koller stated this in an interview with ČTK.

“The clip is all edited, but it was impossible to play. It’s about the fact that Big Brother never sleeps and sees you not only on the road, on the street, he measures your speed, temperature and he can definitely listen to you from your phone at any time, look in the SMS , e-mail, etc. We’ve had it here and it’s getting worse. I’m bothered by the loss of privacy, which usually prevents the loss of freedom, as we see live in China and not only there, “Koller said.

The clip was directed by Vít Hradil. Since it was created during the quarantine period, only he and Koller participated in its creation. We will contact you and make extensive use of archival footage from the instructional film, which captures the ways of watching uncomfortable people from the pre-revolutionary years. A rich archive of footage from the 1970s to 1989 has been released for use by Memory of the Nation and commercial archives in the United States.

The QR code in the form of his face became a graphic element unifying Koller’s current work. When loading the QR code, which can be found on posters, T-shirts or in a clip, you will get to a special page where Koller will gradually publish new singles and video clips.
