In a few days, MWC 2022 will take place, the meeting place for all tech and smartphone enthusiasts. This year is necessarily not very particularly for the event, after two years of pandemic which have had a strong impact on the organization. We remember in particular that the 2020 edition had been canceled for this reason. 2022 could therefore mark the comeback of the show, with a good number of conferences that we are expecting. 📅 WHEN IS MWC 2022?
The next edition of the MWC will take place from February 28 to March 3, 2022. As every year since 1987, the event is organized by the GSM Association. It is a major event in the world of telephony since it is the largest show dedicated to mobile in the world. Many manufacturers are taking the opportunity to announce their next smartphone and innovations for the coming year.
If the smartphone is king at the MWC, the brands regularly unveil other of their devices, such as laptops, tablets or connected objects. This will be particularly the case this year, as we will have the opportunity to see in this article.
⏲️ WHAT IS THE MWC 2022 PROGRAM?
Many manufacturers are expected at MWC 2022 and the conferences will follow one another at lightning speed. Among those confirmed, some particularly caught our attention. This is particularly the case for those of Huawei, Samsung, or even Honor, which should be an opportunity to discover many new devices. Here are the most anticipated conferences of the event:

💡 WHAT ARE THE EXPECTED ANNOUNCEMENTS?
Samsung prepares a conference rich in presentations
A few days ago, Samsung announced a conference that will take place on February 27. The manufacturer has leaked very little information about it, but the published visual suggests many announcements. According to many rumors, many entry and mid-range smartphones are expected, namely the Galaxy M33, the Galaxy M23, the Galaxy A53, the Galaxy A23 or the Galaxy A13. In addition, the Korean firm could unveil a new flip smartphone, a laptop or even a connected watch. The Galaxy Book Pro 360, in particular, has already been confirmed by several leaks.

Huawei is expected at the turn
On the same day, Huawei will also hold its conference. Again, we do not really know what the manufacturer plans for the latter, but there is a good chance that it will relate to the general ecosystem of the firm. In other words, we should be entitled to a series of connected objects. Some are also hoping for the announcement of a new foldable smartphone, after the presentation of the Huawei Mate X in 2019. Finally, other rumors lean towards a global launch of HarmonyOS, which is not yet a foregone conclusion.
The Honor Magic 4 will show the tip of its nose
The information has already been confirmed, Honor reserves the presentation of its Magic 4 for the MWC 2022. Very few details have leaked to date, but we know in particular that the smartphone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and that it should stand out in the photo. The Realme GT 2 arrives in Europe
Again, the thing has been confirmed by Realme itself, the Realme GT 2 will have its global launch during the show. After a first release in China, the smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, Samsung AMOLED LTPO 120 Hz screen and 5000 mAh battery should soon arrive in France after the conference, which will be held on February 28. This will also be an opportunity to know its official price in euros.

Lenovo will give a virtual conference
On Twitter, the firm announced that “Due to current trends surrounding COVID, Lenovo’s presence at MWC 2022 will be entirely virtual”. It did not specify what announcements it is preparing, but we can count on a new Motorola device.

Towards a global launch of the Xiaomi 12
Xiaomi has never been a staple at MWC, but its appearance at the 2012 edition was memorable due to the global launch of the Xiaomi Mi 9. So many are hoping the Xiaomi 12 will get the same favor. At the moment, the smartphone is only available in China, but the presumed date of its availability in Europe corresponds to those of the show. There is hope.
The OnePlus 10 could make an appearance
But it’s not really something you can really rely on. OnePlus has not yet made a habit of attending MWC 2022 and no conference on its part is currently scheduled on the agenda. Nevertheless, some rumors claim that the presentation of the OnePlus 10 is imminent, so nothing is impossible.

Sony will not be physically present at the show.
In a press release, Sony explained that it was not participating in the MWC. “As the world has become increasingly digital and online opportunities, Sony Corporation will communicate in a way that brings our exciting product news to a wider audience”, said the manufacturer. Thus, it is not impossible that the latter makes an appearance, especially since he is used to making big announcements during the event. Could this be an opportunity to get a preview of the Sony Xperia 1 IV? That remains to be seen.
Nokia could present the Nokia 10
At MWC 2019, Nokia caused a sensation by lifting the veil on the Nokia 9 Pureview. No conference of the firm is planned at the moment, but several rumors claim that the presentation of the Nokia 10 is coming soon. To be watched closely, therefore.
