Date for DLC “Sam’s Story” revealed

Deep Silver and 4A Games have announced when the “Sam’s Story” expansion will be released for “Metro Exodus”. It is the first extensive story expansion. It is scheduled for release on February 11, 2020.

“Sam’s Story” tells the story of the U.S. Navy Sam. He is a Spartan Ranger who has been under the leadership of Colonel Miller since the destruction of Moscow and is now following Artyom’s footsteps and discovering the world outside the metro tunnels.

The search for the father

“Sam has been dreaming of being able to return to his home country for a very long time and maybe find his father alive again,” the developers said in today’s press release. “In the dark tunnels, this prospect always seems slim, but when the Spartans find out that Moscow may not be the only city with survivors of the war, the smoldering hint of hope doesn’t seem as foolish as it used to be.”

Sam sets off from the Aurora in search of a way back to the USA. He discovers the remains of the tsunamis-ravaged port of Vladivostok and crosses destroyed industrial facilities. Also disintegrating residential areas arouse his interest.

In this additional sandbox survival level, you will experience another gripping story with new characters, weapons and mutant variants, according to the manufacturer. A huge non-linear environment is promised that offers numerous hours of immersive gameplay.
