Corona in Darmstadt: New rules for events and gastronomy

What rules will apply in Darmstadt if the incidence is below 35? In the interiors of restaurants and bars, guests would then no longer have to present negative evidence. Otherwise, most of the rules of gastronomy remained as before, including the mask requirement up to the seat.

There would be major changes in the event area: The corona test requirement would be omitted for events with up to 100 participants. In addition, the maximum number of participants would be increased to 750 people indoors and 1,500 for open-air events. Events of this size no longer need to be approved.

In addition, larger events would be possible. For example, stadiums could again allow some spectators for sporting events. However, if the number of spectators exceeds 5000, only 50 percent occupancy of the event locations is possible. In Darmstadt this would mean that around 8,700 people would be admitted to the football stadium at Böllenfalltor. In total, events would be limited to 25,000 participants. All of these regulations will only become possible when the incidence in Darmstadt is below 35 again.
