Facebook finally start “Slowly” the public release of dark mode on iPhone and iPad. Some users have noticed the activation of a new setting for dark mode in the application. For its part, the company confirmed that the functionality was being implemented.
Some of these lucky users ironically reported the “good news” on Twitter this week. They confirmed the arrival of a new parameter in theapplication called “Dark Mode”. You can choose the light theme, the dark theme or follow the system settings. You can find out if you’re among the lucky users by opening the Facebook app, touching the three lines in the lower right corner and looking for the “Settings and privacy” section.
The company confirmed that the feature is only active for “a small percentage of users worldwide at the moment”. For now, the company has not wanted to indicate a date on which it plans to offer this function to everyone, probably because it is still a test and the design may be still being finalized.
