Today Friday, Martine Jonckheere has to undergo a mastectomy in her fight against cancer. In a moving video from the hospital, she thanks her fans for all the support she received in recent weeks. “I received many messages: ‘Martine, good luck. You are a strong woman. You can do that.’ But to be honest, as I sit here now, I’m starting to doubt that. Whether I am really that strong lady you think. I’m afraid of tomorrow.”
