Over the past year and a half, the NBA Rumors haven’t stopped reporting the possible departure of Damian Lillard from Portland track blazer.
The path that the Oregon franchise was taking, moving away from the most competitive projects in the league and chasing the positions that lead to the ‘tank’, did not make much sense that the point guard was wasting the best years of his career on a team with no aspirations.
However, the good summer of the Blazers themselves (with additions like Jerami Grant and Gary Payton II) led Lillard to accept an extension for another two seasons with the team of his life. Also, in his latest statements, Damian talked about his intentions for a future retirement.
“I will always do what I think is best for me and what my heart tells me to do,” said Damian Lillard. “I’ve had a number of people close to me who told me I should get out of here, but I have tremendous loyalty to this organization.”

The 2022/23 season of NBA the Portland Trail Blazers must bring the franchise back to the playoffs. The potential starting lineup is aiming for it, with the following names:
