The French press claims that Dacia is working on a new compact model, one known internally as the project Dacia C-Neo. We could receive the first official details from Dacia representatives in 2024, but the launch will not take place earlier than 2026.
The Dacia C-Neo is intended to be different from the Renault Megane, so current sources indicate that the team behind this project was more inspired by the Citroen C4 and even the Skoda Scala.
Dacia wants the new car to have its own identity, that’s why the aesthetics could look a little different from what the Romanian brand has been used to lately. Dacia C-Neo would be approximately 4.4 meters long and should be built on the platform of the future Renault Grand Captur. It seems that the Dacia C-Neo would only have a hybrid engine, so we won’t see it, at least at first, in a purely electric version.
Many details about the Dacia C-Neo project are not yet known, it is certain that it exists and is being worked on. By then we will receive the new Bigster, as well as the third generation of Duster.
