The Nokia XR21 has been on sale abroad for several months. A few domestic stores did not want to wait for official distribution and already in August brought durable smartphones to our country on their own.
But the demand was significantly higher than the supply, so the news literally got dusty. According to the shopping guide Zboží.cz currently only one store offers the Nokia brand armor for CZK 14,550.
The news has managed to find out through distribution channels that an improvement is still in sight. Official deliveries to the domestic market are not yet on the agenda.

He can do a lot
The Nokia XR21 has a whole range of attractions. At first glance, it may seem like a dime a dozen smartphone. It has a 6.49″ display with FullHD+ resolution, an economical Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor and a battery with a capacity of 4800 mAh, thanks to which it should be able to work on battery for up to two days.
The other equipment is not exceptional either: a fingerprint reader, two programmable buttons, stereo speakers or three cameras – there is a main 64 MPx sensor and a wide-angle 8 MPx camera at the back, and a 16 MPx camera at the front.
However, the novelty does not stand out from the competition in performance or durability, but mainly in extreme resistance, which it masks very well. You can recognize most such durable smartphones at first glance by their robust construction with massive rubber coating around the entire structure. The Nokia XR21, however, hides its extreme resistance behind rather pleasing curves, which do not differ much from commonly offered smartphones.
Survives extreme conditions
At the same time, this model leaves a lot to like. “The Nokia XR21 has been designed to eliminate these concerns forever. The novelty can withstand even the most demanding conditions, such as splashing water at a temperature of up to 80 °C up to a pressure of 100 bar, falls on the pavement, humidity in tropical countries or extreme weather,” stated Adam Ferguson, head of product marketing at HMD Global, which sells Nokia mobile phones produces.
“The body of the Nokia XR21 is made of 100% recycled aluminum, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus,” he added.

The entire construction meets the military standard MIL-STD-810H, which guarantees handling a fall from 1.8 meters without damage or submersion to a depth of 1.5 meters for up to one hour and resistance to splashing water at high pressure. By the way, the notified 100 bars represents a higher value than the pressure when firemen’s hoses burst.
IP68 and IP69K certifications ensure waterproofness. In this respect, the touch screen with a diagonal of 6.49″ and FullHD+ resolution deserves to be highlighted, because it can be operated even with wet hands. The XR21 model does not even have a problem with various temperatures, it can work at -20 °C and +55 °C.
