Český wireless has announced a direct connection of its data network with a high-capacity optical connection with the TV content provider Skylink Live TV. The company provides a fixed xDSL connection via the Eri / CETIN network throughout the Czech Republic (coverage).
“This connection will provide customers using Eri Internet, together with a dedicated line for Internet television, the highest possible picture and sound quality in HD resolution when watching Skylink Live TV,” said Petr Benýšek from Český wireless. “Within a few months, we plan to implement optical connections with other major TV content providers,” he added.
Customers can go through the web internetstv.cz order a connection and internet TV at the same time, but both companies will charge for their services separately. The condition for the proper functioning of the dedicated line for television is the purchase of a preset router MikroTik RBD52G for 1599 CZK. The customer must also pay a one-time installation fee of CZK 999.
The lowest package costs CZK 668 per month (CZK 469 per month for a 50 Mbps internet connection + CZK 199 for Skylink Live TV with 66 stations, of which 46 are in HD). From the eighth month, the total payment will increase to CZK 718 per month, as the payment for Skylink Live TV will increase to CZK 249 per month. The price offer will appear after verifying the address on the website.
The first month of using both services is free.
