A video of a cyclist spitting on cars has surfaced on the internet. After the cyclist spat on the cars at the Heikant in Zolder, someone shouted: “Good morning sir, are you okay?” A little further on, someone is standing on the side of the road with a full bucket of water that he throws over the cyclist.” The weird video is widely shared on social media.

It is not the first time that the cyclist spits on the parked cars at Auto’s James in Zolder as he drives past. The owners of the car garage were fed up and reacted. “We don’t know what the man’s motive is, we don’t know him or why he spits on our cars every day,” said Mesut of Auto’s James. “We respect everyone and if people have a problem, they can always come to us and we will look for a solution. Until we know what’s going on, we can’t take any action. But tackling us in this way is showing disrespect and unheard of.” It wasn’t the cyclist’s first time spitting.
“We kept seeing saliva on cars, but we didn’t know where it came from. This has been going on for several months now. Even cars ready for pick-up had been spat on by customers. When we checked our CCTV footage, we saw the same man spitting every time he cycles past. We find it very unfortunate that the cyclist cannot tell us what his problem is. But also that he didn’t stop spitting at our car. We were fed up with it, so we surprised him with a bucket of water. Waste of water. For us, the stocking is over, the cyclist will probably not come back.”
After the cyclist was poured over with a bucket of water, he reacts in the video: “Dirty son of a whore.” “It’s a shame that the cyclist says such a thing. My mom was one like there is none in this world,” Mesut said.(e.g.)
