After the launch of the long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077, the fans’ evaluations plummeted, especially the poor support for the old platform, which is quite confusing. Recently, an organized class action lawsuit has been launched, intending to sue the developer for failing to truthfully report game issues to shareholders and causing losses.
According to reports, the company named Rosen Law announced their class action plan, which mainly accused the management of developer CD Projekt Red for misleading investors, claiming that the game was ready when it was launched, and failed to truthfully point out that the game is on PS4 and Xbox. There are too many problems on One and basically cannot play normally, causing their losses. Currently, Rosen Law does not have a representative of the originator, but shareholders can apply to join the class action online.
In addition to this potential lawsuit, CD Projekt also has investors in Poland, where its headquarters are located, intending to initiate legal actions against it. Although they have agreed to provide players with a full refund, subsequent legal issues still exist, and how CD Projekt will respond remains to be seen.
