The insurer unveiled the results of its investigation following the cyberattack on the afternoon of December 17 and shared the results with Insurance portal. On December 15, the insurer claimed that no data had been compromised.
“We have already contacted the business customers affected to offer them all the support and protection measures required in this situation. In addition, the gradual recovery of services is well underway and we are optimistic that all our systems will be operational in the coming days, ”the insurer also specified.
L’Unique believes that the speed of reaction of its IT teams and the effectiveness of the protective measures were crucial in limiting the scope of this attack as much as possible. “We are continuously working to improve our IT security measures and this episode only reinforces our commitment in this direction”, indicates the insurer.
The damage insurance brokerage subsidiary of The capital also claimed that theFinancial Markets Authority was promptly notified of the situation. “She was kept constantly informed of developments,” says the insurer.
