A pediatric nurse has won the lottery for the 57th time – and finally hit the jackpot. Now she has revealed the special, almost unforgettable words that another customer said to her when she bought the ticket at the supermarket.

The moving story with a very special happy ending takes place in the county of Henrico in the US state of Virginia, which has a population of 335,000. Pediatric nurse Crystal Holbrook-Gazoni was incredibly lucky to win $75,000 in a ticket.
As the online portal “The Sun” reports, she bought the ticket in a supermarket. Crystal explains that another woman at the same register put a hand on her shoulder and said, “Honey, I hope you win something big!” The pediatric nurse was then completely amazed when she came home with her ticket to find that she had actually won $75,000.
But that is by no means the end of this incredible story.

Because Crystal Holbrook-Gazoni is absolutely no stranger when it comes to winning the lottery. In the six years from 2015 to 2021, she won the equivalent of around 71,500 euros with 56 lottery tickets. However, it was a lot of small prize money – and never so big that she would have been given a large cardboard check for it.
But in 2021, those responsible for the lottery decided to give her a symbolic souvenir check in recognition of the many individual wins. At the time, Crystal told staff: “I keep this check at my house where I see it every day. And someday I’ll get the real big win!”

Now, two years later, she actually won the high prize money she had been waiting for – and got a real check. Crystal plans to use this super win to pay her bills and – maybe this is the really happy ending – to save for her children’s education. The money comes from the Print’n Play Ultimate 7s Bingo lottery game, which is widespread in Virginia. All proceeds from the lottery benefit education in the US state. Henrico County, where Crystal Holbrook-Gazoni lives, received $33.6 million from the lottery fund last year for the education of children from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
