Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the media center at the Meteorological Authority, said that there is a significant improvement in temperatures during the day and night, which are below normal rates, pointing out that the temperature will be at this rate until next Friday.
She added that the temperature during the current period is 33 degrees in Cairo and 30 degrees in the northern coasts, while it remains high in the southern regions, which ranges from 37 to 41 degrees.
And she continued: “The weather will be hot and humid in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts, and very hot in the southern regions” north and south of Upper Egypt and South Sinai.
And she stressed that during the night periods, a drop in temperatures occurs, which is more noticeable during the late night and early morning hours, and the weather is completely mild in most parts of the Republic, especially in the northern regions; Due to the presence of wind activity.
She indicated that there is a water cloud in the early morning on most of the agricultural and highway roads, which leads to reduced visibility for motorists.
She confirmed that heat waves are likely to occur during the coming period, but they will be less severe than those that occurred last month, as the temperature could reach 35 degrees.
