The results of the latest Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) survey put PDIP as the party with the highest electability in less than two months before the 2024 election.

PDIP electability is 16.4 percent. Beating Gerindra in second place with 14.6 percent. In third place is Golkar with 11.9 percent, slightly ahead of PKS with 11.8 percent.

In fifth position is PKB with 9.2 percent, NasDem in sixth position with 6.4 percent, PAN 5.2 percent, and Democrats in eighth position with 4.8 percent.

Meanwhile, PPP is in ninth position and is predicted not to pass parliament with an electability of 3.5 percent, Perindo 1.5 percent, and PSI 1.3 percent.

Below them there are six other parties whose figures are below 1 percent, such as PBB, Gelora, Hanura, Garuda, Ummat, and the Labor Party.

The CSIS survey was conducted using face-to-face interviews on 13-18 December 2023 with 1,300 respondents selected using the multistage random sampling method. The survey’s margin of error is approximately 2.7 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.

Meanwhile, in the latest Polling Institute survey on the same day, the Gerindra Party had overtaken the PDIP. Gerindra’s superiority is said to be due to the migration of President Joko Widodo’s voters.

Gerindra’s electability is currently 18.8 percent, while PDIP’s is 17.7 percent. The two parties are separated by 1.1 percent.

Meanwhile, the Political Indicators survey released on Tuesday (26/12) recorded PDIP’s superiority with electability of 19.1 percent. Then the Gerindra Party with 18.2 percent, the Golkar Party with 9.3 percent, the PKB with 7.8 percent, the NasDem Party with 6.2 percent, the PKS with 6 percent, the PAN with 4.5 percent, and the Democratic Party with 4. 4 percent.
