Valve has released a major patch for CS2, which eliminated a number of bugs and errors. With the December 1 update, the developers also improved animations and made many small changes to the maps.
List of changes:
improved subtik timing in interaction with various systems, including animations of throwing grenades and firing from a revolver; added the missing fire effect on the Molotov cocktail when the player holds it in his hand; reduced the maximum angle of rotation of the character’s body relative to the position of the legs; improved reactions to hits; jumping animations have become directional; the position of the character model has been improved when aiming down or up; the movement of models while running has been improved; animations have been corrected when characters appear on the map; the flashbang animation now better reflects the duration of the effect; a bug has been fixed that caused repeated when inspecting thrust knives, the sound of changing weapons was played; improved attenuation of the sound of grenades bouncing off surfaces when moving away from characters; reduced the volume of the signal for the end of the bonus weapon period in the Deathmatch mode and group chat notifications; fixed console errors about missing sounds of dripping water on Office; increased hearing distance for sounds of glass breaking in windows; fixed an issue where in some cases agents from the Cavalry pack would say hostage-related phrases during the celebration animation; adjusted wear values of many stickers to match the parameters from CS:GO; corrected behavior non-standard console commands in accordance with CS:GO standards; many changes and fixes on Nuke, Mirage, Office, Vertigo, Anubis and Ancient.
Earlier it became known at what rating the majority of CS2 users play. According to the leetify portal, the largest part of the audience for Valve’s shooter is at around 4 thousand – 15.5% of 1.9 million gamers.
