With the completion of Operation Broken Fang in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, it is normal for some updates to happen for the next period in the game cycle. This time, Valve announced that Train, one of the most classic maps in the game, will be replaced in the competitive rotation by Ancient, which has been remodeled with new changes. The update also brings new skins, including a USP from the Brazilian studio 2Minds and other news.

As is common in CS: GO, the exchange of maps in the competitive scenario happens mainly to change the style of the teams a little and give a greater variety in the competition. This time, however, Ancient will be part of the circuit for the first time, after being introduced to the game during Operation Broken Fang.

In this new update, the map received a new route to the CTs on the way to bomb A from the spawn, an expansion of the entrance of the terrorists on the left side of the middle, an opening in the tunnel that gives access to bomb A for the terrorists, an expansion in the C4 zone at bomb B and some bug fixes.

In addition, the Snakebite Box will be introduced in the game, with 17 new skins developed by the community. The highlight is the painting by USP, called “O Traidor”, which was created by the Brazilian studio 2Minds.
