Crysis Remastered has an 8K release date, ray tracing and texture

Just as we thought we had found Microsoft Flight Simulator review a new benchmark for our gaming PCs, here comes the release date of Crysis Remastered, complete with trailers and technical information that highlight the update work carried out on the title.

The game will be available starting from 18 September on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, after being postponed to the last second for the disappointing quality of the remastering and being first released only on Nintendo Switch.

The new trailer is a technical preview that allows you to appreciate all the news of this release, which will be on PC an Epic Games Store exclusive.

The video reveals that the remaster will include high quality textures up to 8K resolution, global illumination, depth of field, new lighting settings, motion blur, ray tracing and more.

They will also be supported HDR, anti-aliasing temporale, SSDO, parallax occlusion mapping, screen space reflection and shadow (SSR and SSS), along with new particle effects.

It should be emphasized that most of these features will be reserved for the PC audience, while it is not clear how many will also be brought to PS4 and Xbox One, and under what conditions.

On the Nintendo Switch the compromises appeared evident, predictably, but we talked about them in more detail in ours review by Crysis Remastered.

The launch price will be particularly convenient, since the release is only scheduled a €29,99.

Crysis Remastered is already on Switch, you can buy the Lite version of the console to make it yours now at an advantageous price
