Unfortunately, no Crysis Warhead on the program for this remaster.
Announced a few weeks ago, the Crysis remaster will arrive this summer on PC, Xbox One, Switch and PS4. July 23 more precisely.
The remastering work of Saber Interactive promises to be very light, however, with HD textures, support for HDR and 4K, and that’s about it … We shouldn’t expect new content and certainly not the Warhead episode, which was critically acclaimed.
After the excellent Far Cry, Crytek signed in 2007 the excellent Crysis, a new emblematic franchise of the German studio, at the time distributed by Electronic Arts. Nice success when it came out, the game will be above all a great technological showcase for the Cry Engine, the house engine of the studio, which caused a sensation. With its sandbox universe, its tropical decor and its visual effects that will fill your eyes, Crysis caused a sensation with players. The game will however be entitled to a port on the consoles of the time only very late, and only in dematerialized version.
The first trailer for the game will be officially revealed at 6 p.m. here. However, it has already leaked on the Internet.
