“Cruel Fate: Abandoned Cat Run Over by Car and Left to Die”

The employees of the Wesel animal shelter (NRW) have certainly experienced some terrible animal fates. But the story of this cat is particularly cruel…

The animal shelter Wesel (NRW) is in shock: A cat had to die a particularly cruel death – because he was heartlessly abandoned by his owners! The shelter is now reporting the incident on its Facebook page.

Animal shelter in NRW: cat run over by car

“Probably last night, a transport box and cat were parked at the Schaffeld company in Hamminkeln. It is a young, unneutered tomcat, which unfortunately was not marked. The young tomcat must have been so scared that the box was full of diarrhea and he panicked and opened the door of the box and threw out a bowl full of meat sausage. The other bowl of cat food and meatballs were scattered around the box. An ordeal in the box, which is far too narrow anyway,” says the Facebook post.

“If just sitting out isn’t bad enough, the cat ran in front of the next car and was run over and abandoned. Dear Junior, it’s bad enough how your former owner acted and what a horrible death you must have had.”
