Croatia, Sweden | New president with NATO no to Finland and Sweden

according to Sky News Croatian President Zoran Milanovic will also deny Finland and Sweden membership in NATO.

Milanovic is to be in a heated argument with the country’s prime minister, Andrej Plenkovic, over several things, including the two Nordic countries’ NATO application.

NTB writes that the president urges the National Assembly to block the two countries’ applications until the neighboring country Bosnia-Herzegovina changes the electoral law so that the Bosnian Croats can more easily be elected to high positions.

In order for the application to be approved, all current NATO countries must approve the applications to Finland and Sweden.
