Catch-up games in Serie A
Juventus have moved up to third place again in the Italian Serie A. The defending champion won a catch-up game against fifth-placed SSC Napoli 2-1 (1-0) on Wednesday evening. Cristiano Ronaldo (13th) scored with his 25th goal of the season to 1-0 for Juve, substitute Paulo Dybala (73rd) increased to 2-0 on his comeback after a month-long inner ligament injury. The goal for Naples was scored by Lorenzo Insigne (90th minute) with a penalty.

With nine game days before the end of the season, Inter Milan are getting closer to their first championship title since 2010. The front runner won 2-1 (1-0) against bottom-ninth US Sassuolo and extended his lead over city rivals AC to eleven points. Romelu Lukaku (10th) and Lautaro Martínez (67th) paved the way to victory with their goals, Hamed Junior Traorè (85th) shortened with a nice flick for the guests.
