Cristiano Ronaldo has issued a warning to Al-Hilal after helping Al-Nassr win against Karim Benzema’s Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League.
The Portuguese striker scored two goals from the penalty spot to help Al Nassr win 5-2 against Al Ittihad on Tuesday evening. Abderrazak Hamdallah’s 14th-minute goal gave Al-Ittihad the lead, but Ronaldo converted a penalty to equalize before Anderson Talisca scored to give the visitors the lead at half-time. Ronaldo scored his second goal of the evening in the 68th minute, before Sadio Mane scored twice to complete the victory.
Ronaldo took to Instagram to celebrate the victory and also made it known that his team are not giving up on their title ambitions despite being seven points behind leaders Al-Hilal. He wrote: “Important victory! 💪 We are not stopping! 👊🏽”
