The Portuguese have a number of days to train and prepare for the clash against Newcastle United at Old Trafford.
On Instagram, Fabrizio Romano revealed details of the payout structure of the deal between United and Juventus.
“Manchester United will pay € 15 million guaranteed to Juventus for the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo… but in five years. € 3 million per year until 2026, so in five different installments. OK.”
“Additions of € 8million are also included in the deal between Juve and Man Utd. 5 M € potentially easy to reach, 3 M € more complicated. “
United fans will be eager to see their star man return in a red shirt.
Even at 36, Ronaldo looks fitter than ever and is tailor-made for the Premier League.
Solskjaer hopes his arrival can raise the level of the whole squad and increase his chances of winning silverware in this campaign.
