World football star and five-time Golden Ball winner, Cristiano Ronaldo could be present on November 4 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on the occasion of the fifth edition of WWE Crown Jewel.
The Spanish daily AS reports that the Portuguese star was approached by WWE officials to make an appearance during the federation’s next show in Saudi Arabia. While Fightful would have tried, in vain, to question WWE for more details, the exact nature of the possible presence of the Al Nassr player at the event is not yet known. AS also reports that WWE intends to offer a large sum of money to the Portuguese striker in exchange for his appearance during the show.
By approaching sports stars and famous personalities outside of professional wrestling, the American federation intends to optimize its media notoriety in order to attract a wider audience and audience, as evidenced by the rapprochement between WWE and the UFC with the takeover of the American wrestling league by Endeavor.
