Cristiano Ronaldo has had an impressive professional career so far. The Portuguese managed to win very important titles like five Champions League, three Premier League or five Ballon d’Or and compete in an incredible way for almost everything he had in front of him.
His professional career began in 2002 at Sporting CP and since then he has played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus. Cristiano is already 35 years old but due to his incredible physical conditions no one can guarantee when he will retire and his last days seem to be very far away.
Despite what many may think, CR7 spoke about his biggest idols and didn’t mention Diego Armando Maradona or Pelé. Argentinian and Brazilian legends were left out by the Portuguese, who spoke about who is his true inspiration and a role model to follow in his career: Roger Federer.
Cristiano explained in an interview with DAZN that he watches the Swiss tennis player a lot, that at 39 years old he is still one of the best in the world.
The striker said the problem at this age is not physical, but staying motivated to fight for big things like when he was young.
