Crime – Freiburg im Breisgau – man for child abuse in hundreds of cases in court – Panorama

Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – Because he is said to have sexually assaulted two girls hundreds of times, a man is standing in front of the Freiburg regional court from today (9:00 a.m.). The public prosecutor’s office accuses the 47-year-old of having stolen the children’s trust and then abusing them. For the proceedings before the youth protection chamber, eight further appointments are planned until the beginning of February.

According to the information, the defendant is said to have come into contact with a nine-year-old in 2015 through acquaintances. The girl often visited him in his apartment north of Freiburg and stayed there. From Pentecost 2016 to February 2020, he is said to have passed himself on to the victim more than 200 times. Depending on his age, the prosecution charged the man 188 cases of serious sexual abuse of children and 26 cases of sexual abuse of juveniles. A child is considered to be under 14 years of age.

The defendant is said to have committed at least 100 cases of sexual abuse on a second child, whom he met through the first girl. He also sneaked the ten-year-old’s trust and, in the period from October 2015 to January 2020, betrayed her, especially in his apartment.
