There’s no mystery why, as Beyoncé announced that her next album, “Renaissance II,” will be included in the country songs category.

Although the sudden use of these hats may be part of a larger promotional strategy, Beyoncé is not the only celebrity who has become inclined towards this trend.

Earlier this month, the American model of Palestinian origin, Bella Hadid, revealed that she participated in the “Rodeo” cowboy competition in Weatherford, Texas, with her horse, “Tito.”

As W magazine wrote, Hadid brought “a touch of runway to rodeo fashion” in fringed leather pants, a collared shirt, and a cowboy hat.

Reality TV star, Kim Kardashian, also published her Super Bowl party look on her Instagram page. She appeared in wide-leg black jeans and a black Stetson hat that cost $650.

This trend also appeared on the men’s fashion runways in the French capital Paris During January, many pieces from the latest Louis Vuitton collection focused on cowboy fashion.

Through the TikTok website, the hashtag “cowboycore” (which means cowboy fashion) received 11.4 million views, and the number is still increasing.

Searches for “cowboy” on Pinterest have nearly doubled since December, as has interest in the phrase “cowboy aesthetic.”

However, the underpinnings of this Western-inspired trend have been part of the fashion vocabulary for a long time.

For example, cowboy boots were taken out of their rural context and appeared on the urban streets of major cities years ago.

Everyone from Marilyn Monroe and Princess Diana to Britney Spears and Kate Moss wore it.

Fashion designer Tom Ford transformed the shoe during a show in 2014, when he combined a pair of these shoes with a leopard-print skirt and fishnet stockings.

The Celine brand contributed to reviving these shoes further in 2015 during its spring and summer 2016 show.

These embellished leather shoes have been a fashion mainstay ever since, turning into a timeless item.

It seems that other elements of this trend will catch up as well.
