COVID Vaccines Available For People Over 65 Years Old

Eligible beneficiaries can now schedule appointments online for COVID-19 vaccines. The vaccine is now available to: • People 65 and older; • Licensed and unlicensed healthcare workers and first responders who have face-to-face interactions with patients or infectious material or work in a public-facing position that requires face-to-face contact. Due to the limited supply, a vaccine is available by appointment only to those currently eligible as determined by the Indiana Department of Health. That full list is posted on https://ourshot.in.gov and appointments can also be scheduled on that website (or if you need help in Spanish, call 211).

There is no cost to the individual, but the insurance may be charged an administrative fee. Individuals must bring a photo ID and an insurance card if they have one. Licensed and unlicensed healthcare workers and first responders will need a photo ID, proof of age, or verification of current employment as a healthcare worker or first responder in Indiana.

The vaccination site in White County will be in the IVY TECH building.
