Gyms, swimming pools, cinemas, theaters, beauty centers. There are many activities that risk not restarting on the established date. If the Scientific Technical Committee asks to review the guidelines for skiing, the government is holding back on the restart of other sectors which – this is the opinion of the scientists – could increase the number of infections from Covid 19. But the assessment, at least as regards the Regions that will be in the yellow band in mid-January, has already begun. The confirmation comes precisely from the CTS where a technical table was opened with the Ministry of Sport to speed up the times and allow people and especially young people to resume physical activity as soon as possible.

Yet the times are not announced short, even taking into account the Rpt index (new positives on swabs carried out) which yesterday touched 15% again. The Dpcm in force expires on January 15th and only close to that date, the new openings will be decided. Nothing at the moment seems obvious, however trade associations are pressing and many have developed new guidelines.

The gyms
The possibility of returning to gym conditioned by a series of precautions and rules that are being re-developed. Under discussion is the possibility of further limit the number of entries, but also that of prevent customers from having access to the changing rooms. By January 6th the scientists plan to come up with one series of proposals– which are being studied together with experts from the Ministry of Sport – to ensure the one to one ratio, with the teacher who would play single lessons only. In swimming pools, one person per lane is being evaluated. The Minister of Sport Vincenzo Spadafora he knows well that the government’s choices will be conditioned by the trend of the epidemiological curve, but the work of these days aims precisely at having at least those specialties that can be carried out individually on the list of reopenings.

Cinemas and theaters
It also risks slipping there again filming of cinemas and theaters, as well as that of concert halls. In this case the problem it does not seem represented by what happens inside the structures but from the outside with the file at the entrances. It could be simpler there reopening of museums, however conditioned to limited admissions and always by reservation to avoid crowding inside.

Events and clubs
Certainly ruled out – at least for the next few months – that the green light for major events may arrive discos and all the occasions where a large number of people are expected in the same place. We will follow the principle of graduality, but we will never be able to ignore the trend of the curve, they confirm to the CTS, recalling how to program the restarts, the Rt must go down to at least 0.5.
