Cantabria adds four deceased and reaches 850 dead
Cantabria has added four deaths by COVID-19 this Sunday, amounting to 850 since the start of the pandemic, 17 of them in the last week. On this day, with slight upticks in incidence and a reduction in new cases of people over 60 years of age, those hospitalized have increased and critical ones have decreased, according to the latest Health data corresponding to the end of May 1.
Thus, this Sunday they have registered 90 new cases, which is 28 less than on Saturday. In the last seven days, the positives detected in older than 60 years –only data provided by Health– have been 1.263amounting to 2,183 at 14 days.
The cumulative incidence seems to have moderated its upward trend, with 1,247 cases per 100,000 inhabitants over 14 days, which is nine more than Saturday; and with 721 to seven days, one more. Both parameters remain at a medium risk level.
There’s also three more hospitalized by COVID, specifically 55. With it the bed occupancy has risen two tenths, to 3,4%remaining at a low risk level, and the seven-day income rate has grown by one and a half points, to 18%, although it remains at a medium risk level.
