Covid data: Infections continue to rise and Spain exceeds 12,000 hospitalized

This is reflected in the new report from the Center for the Coordination of Health Alerts and Emergencies (Ccaes), which incorporates 83,613 new cases and another 471 deaths with the disease for a total of 12,973,615 confirmed official infections and 108,730 registered deaths of people with coronavirus in Spain.

Vaccination data

Regarding the vaccination process, 92.7% of the population over 12 years of age is fully vaccinated against the coronavirus, with 39,113,419 people with two doses of vaccine. Likewise, 39,245,458 have received at least one dose, 93% of the population over 12 years of age, as well as 55.1% of children between 5 and 11 years of age, a total of 2,101,861.
