The decline of the third wave of the covid has accelerated its drop, with a speed of propagation (Rt) that has been situated at 0.86, three hundredths less than on Sunday, although the number of hospitalized rebound and of patients in the FIA, partly because of the weekend effect, in which they are less high.
According to the data of the epidemic indicators updated this Monday by the Health department, there are 2,635 people infected with coronavirus admitted to Catalan hospitals, 69 more than the day before, of which 694 are critical in the UCI, ten more than the previous day.

Catalonia has registered until this Monday 522,831 confirmed cases accumulated coronavirus since the start of the pandemic -485,246 with a PCR test or antigen test-, 1,287 more that in the count on Sunday, has informed the Ministry of Health of the Generalitat through its website.
The speed of spread of the disease (Rt) continues to improve with a transmission rate of 0.86, that is, every 100 infected infect an average of 86 people, and that is three hundredths less than the day before.

The number of deaths from covid in Catalonia since the first death that occurred as a result of the epidemic on March 6, 2020 already amounts to 19,796, of which 53 have been reported in the last 24 hours.
More than 127,000 vaccinated with the two doses
A total of 196,537 people have been vaccinated so far since the vaccination campaign began –127,047 people have already received the second dose-: in total, 1,470 vaccines have been administered in the last 24 hours.
Of the total number of people vaccinated with the first dose, 143,978 are from the province of Barcelona, 16,554 from Girona, 13,832 from Lleida and 22,036 from Tarragona; and 52,130 of the total are users of Catalan residences.
