COVID-19: what to do when faced with a positive case in my factory?

End of the state of health emergency and exceptional regimes

The state of health emergency and the emergency regimes linked to COVID ceased from 30 July 2022. Therefore, it is now the common law and general health recommendations that apply in most of the establishments mentioned below. This also means that the level 3 contact tracing performed by the ARS has been reformulated.
Our services now work mainly with ES and ESMS, as well as facilities that welcome a priority audience (prison centers, migrant reception centers, emergency reception centers, etc.).

If you do not represent one of these structures (ES, ESMS or priority audiences), here is a summary of the actions to be taken:

  1. Ask the positive person to isolate themselves strictly and without delay for 7 or 10 days depending on their vaccination schedule (complete or incomplete).
  2. Ask the positive case to evaluate his period of contagiousness and then identify his contacts at risk. Depending on the case, the person’s relatives or yourself can accompany the positive case in this process.
  3. Ask the positive case to declare their contacts at risk through the teleservice prepared by the Health Insurance: home | List my contact cases (ameli.fr)

This statement allows at-risk contact persons to receive an SMS from Health Insurance reminding them what to do and allows them to benefit from free screening if needed.

  1. Ask if positiveyes possible, inform their at-risk contacts of the situation and encourage them to be tested on D + 2 of the last contact at risk by self-test, TAG or PCR. The contacts at risk no longer have to strictly isolate themselves but must wear a mask and scrupulously respect the barrier gestures for 7 days.
