Covid-19: three schools closed in Val-de-Marne according to the rectorate of Créteil

The weekly update from the Créteil academy arrested this Thursday reports three schools closed for cases of Covid-19. Contacted this Friday, the national education services have not yet been able to communicate the list.

However, according to the prefecture of Créteil only one school, the Gilbert-Collet kindergarten in Chevilly-Larue had to close its doors. A measure taken a week ago by prefectural decree on the recommendation of the regional health agency (ARS). It could reopen in the course of next week according to the cabinet of the prefect of Val-de-Marne still awaiting recommendations from the ARS.

In Ivry, the Danielle-Casanova kindergarten, closed ten days ago after a student was infected, was able to reopen on Wednesday.

“We ask ourselves questions about measures and instructions that keep changing”

According to Snuipp-FSU 94, the Marcel-Cachin kindergarten in Vitry had also been closed a few days this week before welcoming the students again since Thursday. However, the prefecture had not issued a closing order for this school.

Five classes remain closed in Val-de-Marne, against eleven in Seine-et-Marne and twenty-three in Seine-Saint-Denis. While the rectorate reports 652 cases of contamination among students and 218 staff of the academy of Créteil over the past seven days. Pupils who are required to stay at home benefit from the educational continuity provided by their teachers.

“We ask ourselves questions about measures and instructions that keep changing. We can clearly see the concern about the virus and at the same time the fact that children are no longer considered as contact cases for teachers gives the idea that there should not be too much rigidity that would force them to close classes. It is not very reassuring even if we do not want to see the schools closed either, ”comments Cyrille Micheletta from Snuipp-FSU 94.
