National conventions. The Democrats have already postponed their convention, which will officially endorse Joe Biden’s candidacy from July to August because of the Covid-19. It will now take place August 17-20 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. And promises a lot of organizational puzzles. Will it be done mainly online? On the Republican side, the convention was to be held August 24-27 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Participants had to agree not to prosecute the Trump administration if they contracted the coronavirus there. The last time Florida hosted a Republican convention in 2012 in Tampa, Hurricane Isaac had helped shorten it.
