Covid-19: The Icelandic government is isolating itself – DELFI

The first test has already been carried out by Jobs. She and the other ministers must take a second test on Monday.

The tests do not have to be carried out by the Minister for Health and Social Affairs alone, as they did not attend the dinner attended by other members of the government last week.

Pending the results of the tests, ministers must stay at home and work remotely.

Iceland requires all travelers entering from abroad to spend 14 days in quarantine or to take two Covid-19 tests at five-day intervals. Travelers should spend time between the first and second tests in self-isolation.

The exception applies to children born in 2005 or later, as well as to transit passengers.

Ten Covid-19-related deaths and approximately 2,050 infections have been reported in a country of almost 365,000 people.
