Covid-19: SPKC asks to refer passengers on certain June 26 bus routes

Epidemiologists of the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC), during an epidemiological investigation, have found out that on June 26, a passenger with an approved Covid-19 traveled by bus on the route Valka – Riga – Valmiera – Valka. SPKC asks to refer to bus passengers who traveled on certain routes, the portal “Delfi” was informed by SPKC.

SPKC asks to refer to bus passengers who traveled on June 26 on routes:

Valka – Riga, departed at 5.40 by VTU “Valmiera” bus (flight no. 760016).

Riga – Valmiera, departed at 13.35 with JSC “Nordeka” (flight no. 7743), route Riga – Valmiera – Rūjiena.

Valmiera – Valka, departed at 16.05 by VTU “Valmiera” bus (flight no. 782509).

All passengers traveling on these routes are subject to home quarantine; must stay at home and contact the SPKC epidemiologist 67271738 (between 17.00-8.30) or tel. 64281131 (during working hours 8.30-17.00).

SPKC reminds that everyone has the opportunity to take a state-paid test for Covid-19 even if there are no symptoms of the disease. It is mandatory to check in advance by calling 8303 on weekdays from 08:00 to 20:00, on Saturdays from 09:00 to 15:00 and on Sundays from 09:00 to 12:00.

The SPKC also reminds that in such cases, the “Stop Covid” application has been created as an additional tool for the public and epidemiologists to find out more quickly if they have been in contact with Covid-19 sufferers. By using the app, you can isolate yourself in a more timely manner so as not to endanger family, colleagues, friends and other residents.
