COVID-19: Russian Embassy offered EsSalud its vaccine against COVID-19

The executive president of EsSalud, Fiorella Molinelli, announced that the Embassy of the Federation of Russia in Peru offered the vaccine that they are working on to confront the COVID-19.

This is during the delivery of 20,000 molecular tests by the embassy for the timely detection of the virus and whose certainty in the results varies between 96 to 100%.

“We have one more task that is the vaccine, I am sure that as a country they will also highlight our request so that it can arrive in Peru as soon as possible,” said Molinelli, as reported EsSalud.

The executive president of the institution thanked the diplomatic contribution in the fight against the pandemic, and said that this comes at a time when the institution’s hospitals have received accreditation from the National Institute of Health (INS) to perform molecular tests in a shorter time.

The delivery of molecular tests was carried out at the Embassy of the Russian Federation, with the participation of Molinelli and Ambassador Igor V. Romanchenko.
