A patient with COVID-19 He was strangled this Friday in a room for the virus infected in the Hospital San Felipe de Tegucigalpa, central zone of Honduras.
According to preliminary versions, the patient was murdered by another patient located in the same patient room with COVID-19.
The victim’s name is José Francisco Ferrufino Turcios (51), a compatriot recently deported from the United States.
Upon arrival in the country, he was admitted to an isolation center located in the Olympic Village and afterwards San Felipe Hospital.
The suspect faces a process against him, however, due to his clinical condition, the case could proceed differently due to the high risk of contagion.
